You will have the opportunity to:
  • Dialogue with other key leaders in the engineering community
  • Apply what you learn to enhance your own personal leadership skills
  • Shape the future of the engineering profession in Iowa
  • Shape the future of Iowa’s leading engineering organizations
  • Use what you have learned to benefit your employer, your profession and your career
  • Explore ways to inspire and motivate those around you

Class size is restricted to no less than 12 people and no more than 20. The next PE Leadership Institute is scheduled for the Fall of 2023.  To enhance the learning experience, the Institute’s steering committee will select suitable candidates, as necessary, if the number of nominations exceeds class size restrictions. These selections may be based on personal interviews.  Employers may nominate as many individuals as they wish.

All participants completing the course will receive a PE Institute Leadership Certificate and recognition in IES publications and annual conference.

Institute Expectations: Each participant is expected to attend all sessions (dinners are optional).  Individuals missing more than one session will be addressed on a case by case basis.  Costs associated with overnight stays, optional activities not covered by registration are the responsibility of the individual or their employer.
